Some questions are asked frequently and here is a list to help you prepare your project. Of course, we are here to answer other questions you could be asking yourself.
- Is there a minimum order?
Our price list is adapted to each order.
- Is there a minimum order (quantity wise) by design and/or color?
No. Clients are free to choose. We offer a wide range of products to please the final costumer. But resellers are free in their choice of quantity. As far as colors are concerned, the only thing is that two-colored bags must be ordered in even numbers.
- What’s the delay for the production?
It all depends on the quantity ordered, but we do everything we can so the production is reasonable even for very large orders. The team can grow bigger when there are more orders. Once the order is confirmed, when the pro forma invoice is sent, we let the client know about the delay.
- What’s the delay for transportation?
The production lead-time and delivery date both depend on the size of the order. The delay can go from 3 to 45 business days depending on the transportation method chosen (DHL, regular air cargo or cargo ship).
- What are the transportation means?
For small and medium orders, we can ship by DHL or regular air cargo. For orders from 15 to 30 kilos, it is better to use DHL Jumbo. The parcel is delivered directly to the desired location. From 45 kilos of products, it is better to use regular air cargo as the price per kilo is cheaper. The delay is the same but the parcel has to be picked up at the closest airport (with a customs service). For orders larger than 10 boxes, it is recommended to use cargo ship. The delay is about 45 business days. This method of transportation is the cheapest. A carrier then sends the boxes to the location needed.
- How to pay my invoice?
When the client accepts the order, a pro forma invoice is emailed. Payment must be done to firmly confirm the order.
Two choices are available:
- 60% deposit then 40% left before the order is shipped.
- Full payment when receiving the pro forma invoice. This option limits bank fees and reduces logistic delays.
Payment can be made by bank transfer or Western Union money order. For Western Union money order, 5% fees will be added to the global invoice.
- Are the ZipMe bags and handbags only for resellers at fairs and markets?
The product is, for sure, a demonstration product that easily sells at fairs and markets, but for the past two years we’ve seen a real rise in our sales in shops.
- Is there any seasonality in the sales of ZipMe products?
The sales of ZipMe bags are as good in winter as they are in summer. At the markets of touristic cities, it is the accessory to match all outfits when on vacation and in the winter, at Christmas markets, it becomes the perfect gift!
- Is there stock available in France for urgent needs?
With time, we have organized stock for urgent needs for small and medium orders. The most popular designs and colors are available so you can be served promptly. An additional cost is to be expected.
- Is the product a fad?
Since we launched ZipmeAndco, the sales keep increasing. Many people still don’t know the product. Moreover, as we are adding new colors every year and adapting the existing collection in the new colors to follow the trends, clients who already have one bag (or more) come back to complete their collection.
- Is the product subject to a patent?
The concept isn’t new and the product is in the public domain. Women from past generations used the zippers (most of the time cotton and steel) from old clothes and assembled them together to create cases or gift-wraps.
- Do you offer a packaging?
We do not impose any packaging to our clients but we can offer them solutions adapted to their needs and budget. Do not hesitate in contacting us to check our existing offers or look at the appropriate packaging together. We can also provide sales support tools (like banners).
